If you are into the whole social media thing, you can now find Botanical Earth on FaceBook. Hint, Hint – there’s a coupon code for Facebook Fans!
It’s close to the start of Spring and I am finally back to work. It’s been a long 5 months with having Botanical Earth closed. You won’t see all the products available right away as I am slowing bringing items back. Officially, the store will reopen on the 1st of May but I thought I would get started now to be in full swing by then.
The email problem has finally been fixed on the site so I should be receiving your emails consistently now, not the hit or miss prior.
Thanks for your continued support of handmade and independent business! As always I appreciate those that have stuck with me through this transition.
Thank you Botanical Earth customers for your support and patience throughout this year – I am truly grateful for your patience and appreciation of handmade products!
In fact, it’s been so good the last 2 weeks, I’m sold out of most products and decided to close for the rest of the year. I can’t replace our gift basket stock fast enough nor did I imagine we would ever go through so much Hemp Soap. So instead of having just a few items, I decided to take the holidays off and make up some new products for the New Year. I’ll be posting some updates through the coming weeks. You can always follow my adventures on Twitter or over at Facebook on our Fan page – though I do get behind on that too….come to think of it, that’s a New Year’s resolution.
Again Happy Holidays!
While supplies last, every order receives a pack of Totally Indie Coupons! I’ve participated for several rounds now and everyone seems to really like them. You receive a package of 39 different indie designer coupons showcasing everything from stationary, clothing, body care and jewelry. There’s also a coupon off your future Botanical Earth order too!
The Totally Indie Coupons program is run by the super talented indie designer Lindsay Landis who also handcrafts adorable dog and cat collars over at Pattern & Paw
And Lillie over at A Planet 4 Creation helps to mail all the boxes to us….plus she cuts everything up which is an indulgence I haven’t taken her up on. She makes the prettist blue and white porcelain earrings that I just love and have several pairs!
I love to go walking in the woods around 9 in the morning. By then I will have made the soap for the day, try to answer all the emails and set up the orders to pack up for the mail drop. It’s usually peaceful as all the neighbors have left for work and the birds are still chirpping

One of the flowers blooming right now are the spiderworts. I wildcraft these pretty blue flowers and use them in pocket mirrors and coasters. I think Spiderworts are so pretty and signal summer is on it’s way. They only bloom for about a month here so I have to make sure I enjoy them while they are here.

On twitter today I found out that my Tea Tree & Clay Soap made Day #145 Soap of the Day by @soaplog
I just started taking new pictures and it’s on of my favorite ones. That was terribly nice of SoapLog – Twitter can be so full of surprises!!
You can find this soap either on Etsy or at the shop.
